Classroom teachers are the backbone of Imagine Schools.  Of the 2,728 people who make up the Imagine Schools team, roughly 80% of us are classroom teachers.

Imagine Schools’ teachers are lifelong learners who care deeply about each student in their charge and are committed to doing whatever is needed to help children achieve excellence inside and outside of the classroom. Our teachers think outside the box, face challenges creatively, and strive to always improve.

At Imagine Schools, every teacher and school staff member’s voice is heard. Your ideas and contributions are essential to the success of the school and the entire organization. Every Imagine Schools teacher has the opportunity to serve on school task forces, on Schools of Excellence peer school review teams, and contribute in other important ways.  We believe that personal and professional growth happen best when every person gets a chance to make important decisions that affect the success of the entire school.  We value the contributions and skills of each member of our school teams.

Imagine Schools provides families with a high-quality educational program and moral development in a safe, nurturing learning environment.  We set high expectations for our students, our staff, and our leaders.  We grade ourselves in Six Measures of Excellence that we believe mark a successful school. We hold ourselves accountable in the same way that we hold our students accountable.

Every one of us at Imagine Schools is expected to be a model of what we want our students to become. That means living out our shared values of integrity, justice and fun…not just in the classroom, but also in relationships with other school staff, with parents, and in the community.
