Project CHILD

Project CHILD (Changing How Instruction for Learning is Delivered) is a research-based teaching and learning system for grades K-5. It emphasizes reading, writing, and mathematics. The triangulated design of the model focuses on:

  1. grouping three teachers over three grade levels,
  2. students working with the same teacher team for three years, and
  3. students working in small, differentiated stations with a variety of hands-on, paper-and-pencil, and technology activities.

Project CHILD is used in the following Imagine Schools:

  • Imagine School Evening Rose, FL
  • Imagine School at North Manatee, FL*
  • Imagine School at North Port, FL
